The legal drinking age in Ras Al Khaimah is now 18.

The UAE has recently changed the recognized age of adulthood to be 18 from 21 in the recent weeks at the start of 2026. 
This brings it more in line with regular International standards. 

Shortly after this Ras Al Khaimah has now lowered the legal drinking age to 18 however the is no change in regards to the drinking age in the other six emirates. 

It is no surprise that Ras Al Khaimah has made this decision as they are approaching closer towards the Wynn Casino opening in spring 2027.
